Dr. Faith Dieleman

Dr. Faith Dieleman, B.Sc. is a recent graduate from Poznan University of Medical Sciences . Her passion and clinical focus is addiction medicine, medical education and accessible healthcare for all populations. Dr. Dieleman provides her exemplary research skills and cannabinoid therapy knowledge to further patient-centred, evidence-informed care within the First Farmacy Medical model which is harm and pharma-reductive centred. She is currently working with Dr. Shelley Turner in developing educational programs for safe cannabis use and helping vulnerable communities have access to medicine.

Dr. Shelley Turner

Dr. Shelley Turner has worked in within the Manitoba and Ontario health care systems for the last 35 years. Her current work as an Addiction Medicine physician in both an Urban and Rural Outpost setting has been shaped her focus of work over her extensive career in health care. Her clinic First Farmacy Medical is focused on a harm and pharma-reductive strategy. 

Cannabinoid Therapy as a harm reduction and pharma-reductive tool has shown great clinical promise in Dr. Turner’s practice. With over 4000 patients and 12,000 patient interactions, she is regarded as one of few clinical specialists in this area. She will be participating in data collection for McMaster University’s research study, (DATACANN), DATAbase for CANNabinoid Consumption and Study alongside colleagues from the Michael G. De Groote Centre for Medicinal Cannabis. 

Dr. Turner is an assistant professor at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, with designated Indigenous faculty status. In this role, she provides clinical preceptorship for medical and allied health professional learners interested in addiction and mental health. Regarded as a leader in cannabinoid clinical medicine, she is regularly consulted regarding patient care and has presented to primary and allied health colleagues.
